About Calix & Co.
Clarity is both the method and the measure.
Calix is a founder-led creative strategy and business-design consultancy. It exists to help thoughtful businesses understand what matters, shape coherent experiences, and make useful ideas practical.

Founder-led, deliberately
Dori Esparza
Dori founded Calix & Co. to connect questions that businesses often treat separately: what the business needs, what customers experience, how products teach and serve, and where technology can be genuinely useful.
Her approach pairs thoughtful curiosity with respect for implementation. The aim is not a clever answer that stays on paper, but a clearer way to decide and move.
About CalixThe philosophy
Begin with the situation, not a predetermined solution.
A request often arrives in the language of a deliverable: a website, an AI tool, a new offer, a better process. Calix begins one step earlier. What is happening? Who is affected? What has already been tried? What decision would create the most useful movement?
This is not analysis for its own sake. It protects attention and investment from being spent on a polished answer to the wrong question.
The Calix Standard
“Leave every business clearer than you found it.
The Calix Promise
We do not recommend work simply because we can perform it. We recommend the work we genuinely believe will create the most value.
A multidisciplinary view
Business, experience, systems, and technology belong in the same conversation.
Calix connects commercial clarity, customer experience, product and learning thinking, research, system design, and practical AI. The mix is shaped by the question—not used as a reason to expand scope.

Founder-initiated work
A way to make strategic thinking visible—without inventing client proof.
The projects in Selected Work are self-directed research and design explorations. They examine real categories of complexity and demonstrate methods, architectures, and considerations.
They are labeled clearly because credibility depends on distinguishing an exploration from a commissioned engagement, and a designed proposition from a measured market result.
Begin with the question
A clearer business often begins with a better question.
Share what feels unresolved. Calix will consider the situation before recommending what—if anything—should come next.
